To access the full range of features on EQONEX, you'll first need to complete your KYC verification.

The following is a list of the required documents you must provide to complete this process:

  • Identification document: A government-issued document (i.e Passport or National ID card) detailing:

  • Proof of address: A utility bill OR a bank/credit card statement dated less than 3 months ago. Please note: We accept the following types of utility bills: Gas, Electric, Water, Landline Phone, or Broadband Internet, but we do not accept mobile / cell phone bills.

Refer to Know Your Customer (KYC) document guidelines for further details.

Step 1: Log in to your EQONEX account.

Step 2: Click on Complete profile on the banner on top of your trading screen.

Step 3: Fill out your Personal Information.

Step 4: Fill out your Residential Information.

Please provide us with your nationality, country of residence, residence/national ID number (if your country does not have a national ID system, you may input your social security number, driver's license number, or passport number instead), and residential address (based on your country of residence).

Step 5: Complete regulatory questions to help with identity verification.

These are questions required by financial regulation to open a trading account for you, including your employment status, monthly income, source of fund and estimated monthly deposit amount.

Step 6: Upload your ID document.

Please upload a copy of a valid document. A picture of your ID or its photocopy will not be accepted. Files must be in PDF, JPG, PNG or GIF formats, maximum individual file size is 10 MB.

Step 7: Please have your mobile phone ready at this step.

Use your mobile phone to scan the displayed QR code. Alternatively, you can choose to receive the link via SMS or copy the link from your browser.

Once you have completed all the tasks requested from the link, click Submit verification. EQONEX will immediately perform a primary check on your provided details. We may also request an additional Proof of Address document (if needed). At this point, you have reached Identification Level 2. Refer to Identification levels for further details regarding the trading abilities for each Identification level.

Our KYC team will get back to you as soon as possible via email to confirm the creation of your EQONEX account.

We encourage you to complete your verification within 30 business days from the submission of your documents to avoid account suspension.
