Whitelisting wallet addresses adds an extra layer of security against any illegitimate activity. EQONEX only allows crypto withdrawals to authorized (whitelisted) wallets.

Please note: Whitelisting cannot be completed unless your account has Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled. Learn more about 2FA here.

Step 1: Click on Wallets & Bank Accounts button on the left bar. Then go to Manage > Add Crypto Wallet.

Step 2: Choose a Wallet Type, fill out the form, tick the required checkbox, and enter a 2FA Authentication code.

Important: When depositing from or withdrawing to an XLM network wallet, you must enter the Memo ID to prevent your funds from getting lost.


  • Wallet Address is the address of your crypto wallet, while Wallet Alias is a wallet nickname of your choosing so that you can find it easier in a list of wallets. For example, 3A74tGTDgMh3bNcX2EyRcJxLas1FrpZ78F is a Wallet Address, while “BTC Wallet 001” is an Alias.

  • Make sure to input the correct address according to Wallet Type. Please do not, for example, input an ETH address while select BTC for Wallet Type.

Once you have filled out all the details and confirmed that you have pasted the correct address for wallet type, click Confirm.

The system will ask for a 2nd confirmation. Click Confirm to continue, or Edit to revise.

Step 3: Your wallet has been logged for whitelisting and will go through a 24-hour cool-down period. Its status is now Pending.

Please note: You cannot edit, remove, or use a crypto wallet when it is in Pending status.

Once the cool-down period ends, your wallet will move from Pending to a Verified status and be ready for use.
