A user or authorized person is someone authorized to make transactions (such as deposit, withdraw, or trade) on an entity's or institution's behalf. This user has the authority to manage the entity's exchange accounts as well as its users' accounts.

For a user to join an exchange account, they must be invited by the institution's onboarding admin.

Step 1: Click on Accounts button on the left bar. Then select Manage.

Step 2: Select Users > Invite User.

Step 3: Enter the user's email address. Please note that the user's email domain should be the same as that which was used to onboard the institution. For instance, when the institution's onboarding admin email is "john.doe@companyABC.com", the invited user's email when onboarding should end in “@companyABC.com".

You may also toggle the admin switch if you intend to give this user admin permissions.

Click Confirm and an email invitation with a verification code will be sent to the user's email address.

The user will then be directed to the onboarding page where they can go through the onboarding process similar to that of an individual retail user. See How to complete your Authorized Person (Institution) verification on EQONEX for further guidelines.

After having the authorized person onboarding, please refer to Manage Member(s) within the Exchange Account session in How to set up your Exchange Account(s) on EQONEX in order to assign them to an Exchange Account.
