To set up your institutional account, click on Institutional Settings on the top right of the navigation menu. If you're on the Trading screen (/trade), click on the burger-menu icon on the top-right of your browser window. Then, click on Institutional Settings.

I. Definition

Entity

Entity refers to the institution, organization, or company onboarded. You can find information regarding the institution’s KYC status, withdrawal limits, and company details under entity information.

To update the information on this page, account administrators must send an email to verify@eqonex.com.



Exchange Accounts

An entity may create and maintain multiple Exchange Accounts with different user permissions and entitlements.

Users

A User or authorized person is someone authorized to make transactions (such as deposit, withdraw, or trade) on the entity's or institution's behalf. This user has the authority to manage the entity's exchange accounts as well as its users.

II. How to set up Exchange Account and Onboard Authorized Person(s)

As an Exchange Admin, you are required to be fully verified to maximize all functions within the account.

  1. Create a new Exchange Account: See How to set up your Exchange Account(s) on EQONEX (Step 1 -4)

  2. Invite a User/Authorized Person to your Exchange Account: See How to invite a User to your Exchange Account

  3. Have that person onboarded to the Exchange by following the invite via email. See How to complete your Authorized Person (Institution) verification on EQONEX

  4. Assign that User/Authorized Person to your Exchange Account. See How to set up your Exchange Account(s) on EQONEX (Step 5)

III. Permission of Authorized Person(s)

This table gives an example in which Deposit and Withdrawal permission is enabled for Authorized Person(s).
Additionally, Account Admin(s) and Authorized Person(s) need to be fully verified in order to access all features.
