A step-by-step guide to institutional onboarding on EQONEX.

SIGN UP

To sign up for an institutional EQONEX account, click on the Sign Up button on the top right of our landing page. Kindly have your onboarding administrator complete the sign-up process.

Select your account type – Institutional. We'll ask you to provide basic and detailed information including email address, choice of password, and country of company registration. Remember to go through and accept our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

You should shortly receive a confirmation email in order to verify your email address. Visit your inbox and follow the instructions in the email.

If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your junk/spam folder. This verification link is valid for 24 hours only.

For institutional accounts, we require 2-Factor Authentication for account access. You may download an authenticator app such as Google, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password – all available on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Once downloaded, click on I am ready to scan.

There are 2 options to set up your 2FA:

  • Scan the QR code shown on your screen with your mobile device.

  • Manually enter the alphanumeric code shown on your app.

Make sure to keep a copy or a screenshot of your back-up code. This will help you regain access to your 2FA app in case you lose your mobile device.

Once you have entered the verification code generated by your chosen 2FA app, click Submit Verification Code.

KNOW-YOUR-CUSTOMER DOCUMENT SUBMISSION

Step 1: Basic Information

Provide your company's basic and detailed information.

Step 2: Detailed Information

Depending on your company type (Corporation, Financial Institution, Trust, or Fund), additional fields may be required for the company onboarding admin to fill out.

Step 3: Business Activity

Please provide an overall description of your company's business activity.

Step 4: Company Structure Information

Please provide the list of Shareholders and Directors. Depending on your company structure, additional documents such as the Shareholders' and Directors' personal information and ID documents will be required.

Step 5: Documents

In order to verify your company's details, we also require you to upload several company documents including the company's AML policy and legal documents such as Registry Extract, Proof of Business Address, Memorandum and Articles of Association, and Ultimate Beneficial Owner Verification.

A confirmation email will be sent out to you once the account verification process is complete.
